The Basics
Happy Journey! I am a Licensed Associate Counselor that has experience working with children, adults and adolescents. I graduated from Kean University with my bachelor’s degree in 2013 and earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health in 2020. I’m committed to being a support to clients as they navigate themselves to wellness and reaching higher levels of emotional stability. I am a student of life and believe that everyone has the inner capability of finding peace within themselves. I am currently under the supervision of Dr. Sally Morcos while I pursue my LPC.
I have had the privilege of serving as an investigative social worker for over 10 years, where I have learned that often people that find themselves in punitive situations is a result of unresolved traumatic experiences. As a clinician, I look to contribute to finding a way out of the trauma through CBT, ACT, and mindfulness.
How I Work
I would like to assist clients in their mental health challenges through reassurance, compassion and cultural sensitivity in a respectful environment. The tools I use to reach clients' goal are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.

A little more about me…
I have been drawn to public service and how the psyche has such a profound impact on our day-to-day decisions through my passion of reading novels and biographies. I have a running theory that nothing is a coincidence and everything is learned. The same way it is learned it can be unlearned.
On my off times, I can be found reading or collecting old books. I also enjoy interior design. I believe that the way a place is designed has a direct connection to mood and provides insight into the person that occupies or owns the space.
