The Basics

Welcome or welcome back to the journey toward mental wellness! I am a Licensed Associate Counselor working under the supervision of Dr. Sally Morcos. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the College of Saint Elizabeth in 2020 and continued pursuing my degree in Mental Health Counseling at Saint Elizabeth University, where I achieved my Master's degree in 2023. I began my career in mental health by interning in school based services, providing individual and group counseling for children and adolescents.

I then worked in group homes and continued my professional journey in crisis services, where I worked with a range of clients from young adults to geriatric populations.

How I work

I have experience working with grief, trauma, depression, and anxiety. My clinical approach is a combination of person-centered, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. With me, you can expect honesty and empathy to help guide you toward your best self with confidence, and I am always open to feedback to make the experience better for you. I believe there is not a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to therapy, and I will utilize the most appropriate approach specifically for you!

A Little More About Me...

My love for counseling stemmed from my teenage years when I began noticing how many friends (and even strangers) would approach me for help and direction. I also utilize my own experiences and life challenges to ensure that you, too, have someone you can talk to without judgment with empathy. Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with loved ones, driving, listening to music, and spending time in nature... mostly spending time at the beach when I can!
